Job summary

The City of Scottsdale seeks an experienced leader to direct Development Services, including Permit Services, Records, Development Engineering and Building Plan Review. You will drive strategic and operational excellence, manage workforce and resources, and ensure consistent, high‑quality service across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Development Services, permitting, and review functions.
• Proven ability to coordinate with developers, property owners, contractors and design professionals to improve service delivery.
• Strong background in shaping strategic, operational and performance improvements across a development lifecycle.

• Lead Development Services division operations and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Serve as senior liaison between the city and stakeholders to ensure timely development reviews and permitting.
