Job summary

The City of Scottsdale seeks an experienced, collaborative Senior Manager of Traffic Engineering to lead the city's traffic engineering programs and help shape a safe, efficient, and accessible transportation system.

This role provides strategic leadership over traffic operations, signals, roadway safety, and the traffic engineering review of development and capital projects, guiding a team to deliver responsive public service for residents, businesses and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Traffic Engineering or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of professional level experience in Traffic Engineering with supervisory responsibilities, or 8 years with a Master's degree.
• An equivalent combination of education and job related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
