Job summary
Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) is seeking a Development Manager to lead individual giving, Pearl Society stewardship, and donor cultivation. You will collaborate with the CEO, CDO, and HAAM board to implement annual development plans and grow major donor programs in line with HAAM's mission for the Austin music community.
The role supervises the Development Associate and Community Engagement Coordinator, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred in philanthropy-related fields, marketing, or communications.
- Minimum 3–5 years as a fundraising professional for a nonprofit.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably managing development staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead individual giving and Pearl Society stewardship.
- Support sponsorships for HAAM signature events and cultivate donor prospects.
- Supervise the Development Associate and Community Engagement Coordinator.
- Develop annual fundraising plans and related budgets with executive leadership.
