Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS) seeks a Development Associate to support fundraising operations, donor relations, grants administration, and development communications. The role emphasizes accurate data management, timely acknowledgments, and collaboration with the VP of Advancement & Strategy to advance public and private funding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in development or nonprofit administration.
• Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems and data reporting.
• Strong writing and editing for donor communications.
• Self-starter with fast-paced, deadline-driven work style.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming gifts and pledges, and prepare acknowledgment letters and receipts.
• Maintain donor and gift records in the CRM, including data entry and cleanup.
• Track donor touchpoints, deadlines, and follow-up tasks for stewardship.
• Draft development communications and support fundraising campaigns.
