Job summary

Breakthrough Central Texas is seeking a Development Manager to strengthen and grow our annual giving program across Central Texas. You will lead multi-channel fundraising, donor stewardship, and events to increase engagement and revenue in support of student success.

This full-time, hybrid role reports to the Senior Director of Development and supervises the Development Associate, with responsibilities spanning data fidelity, campaign planning, and donor communications to advance Breakthrough’s

Qualifications

3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
Experience with annual giving, direct mail, stewardship, and events.
Ability to engage donors and build relationships to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

Collaborate to manage annual giving initiatives (giving days, end-of-year fundraising, monthly recurring giving).
Manage donor retention, renewal, reactivation, and upgrades across programs.
Monitor and report on annual giving performance against goals.
Lead donor stewardship including acknowledgements and workflows for segments.
Coordinate fundraising and stewardship events, including the Breakthrough Benefit Concert.
Supervise the Development Associate and oversee development operations.
