Job summary

Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (AJCP) is seeking a Development Manager to lead and execute complex development projects in Miami from pre-construction through delivery. This onsite role focuses on adaptive reuse across retail, F&B, and mixed-use assets, coordinating with tenants, contractors, lenders, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management and/or development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, or Architecture.
Historic renovation / adaptive reuse experience.
Experience with entitlement processes in multiple markets.

Responsibilities

Lead adaptive reuse and lease execution for multiple assets in urban Miami.
Translate lease requirements into scopes, budgets and schedules.
Manage pre-construction due diligence, budgets, and scheduling.
Oversee project controls, including forecasts and lender reporting.
Coordinate with lenders, tenants, and internal teams to ensure timely funding and delivery.
Lead construction management across landlord and tenant scopes, enforcing permits and inspections.
Monitor portfolio-level compliance, warranties, and post-opening stabilization.
