Job summary
Colorado Mountain College Foundation is seeking a Regional Development Officer to lead fundraising in the assigned Colorado region. You will identify, research, cultivate, solicit, and steward individuals, businesses, and grantmaking bodies to secure annual, programmatic, capital, and planned gifts.
Work closely with the Campus VP(s) and Director of Development; coordinate donor events and maintain a robust pipeline while traveling within the region to foster community partnerships and support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three years related fundraising or sales experience.
- Travel within the assigned region is required.
- Experience with Capital or Major Gift Campaigns is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with individuals, businesses, and organizations in the region to secure donations.
- Coordinate with Foundation CEO, Director of Development and team for prospect tracking.
- Plan and manage donor events and activities to cultivate and steward gifts.
- Maintain a portfolio of 50–70 active prospects/donors and prepare 3 monthly major gift proposals.
