Job summary

Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado seeks a Donor Relations professional to build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and community partners in the Colorado Springs area. You will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and collaborate with the development team on campaigns and events.

The role emphasizes donor stewardship, community engagement, and strategic outreach to deepen support for Care and Share's mission. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a donor database.
• At least 3 years of experience with community engagement.
• Fundraising experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages and stewards a portfolio of mid-size donors and prospects including Harvest Society and Feed Our Neighbors Circle.
• Maintains the stewardship plan for donor engagement and responds to gifts promptly.
• Communicates organizational activities to donors to inspire investment.
• Identifies opportunities to increase donor engagement and giving.
• Develops relationships with partners; coordinates tours and events with volunteers.
• Secures sponsorships and coordinates campaigns and events with the team.
• Represents Care and Share and educates community members about its programs and services.
• Maintains donor records and moves management activities.
