Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Development Coordinator to support the Heersink School of Medicine Development Office. The role includes CRM input, calendaring, travel scheduling, copy editing, and reimbursements, reporting to the Senior Director of Development.

This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to contribute to fundraising programs. Ideal candidates will bring strong project management, analytical and organizational skills, and a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills including time management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Development efforts with administrative duties such as CRM input and management.
  • Handle calendaring, scheduling travel, writing/editing copy for correspondence and submitting reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with Development Officers and Senior Director to facilitate fundraising programs.
