Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC) is seeking a Development Coordinator to support donor stewardship, gift processing, events, campaigns, and communications for the Westside Los Angeles house.

You will work closely with the Director of Development and Executive Director, managing development records, coordinating special events, and ensuring accurate financial and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field; 1–3 years in development or nonprofit admin preferred.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Experience with donor databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers, donors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support gift processing, records, and reconciliation in RE/NXT.
• Prepare donor acknowledgements and run weekly gift reports.
• Coordinate events, partners, sponsorships, and donations.
• Maintain development records and assist with budgets and deposits.
• Assist with website updates, newsletters, and donor communications.
