Job summary

Forsyth School is seeking an Associate Director of Development to lead advancement events and strengthen engagement among alumni, grandparents, families, and volunteers. You will plan and execute high-impact fundraising and stewardship events, and coordinate volunteer leadership in collaboration with the Advancement team.

The role reports to the Director of Advancement and works with Marketing, Admissions, and Facilities to advance the school’s mission and donor engagement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in development, fundraising, or event management within a nonprofit setting.
• Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale events and auctions.
• Experience recruiting, organizing, and inspiring volunteer committees.
• Hands-on experience with donor databases and event platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising, cultivation, and community events including auctions and galas.
• Develop alumni and grandparent engagement programs and communications.
• Coordinate volunteer leadership and committee activities with the Director of Advancement.
• Support donor stewardship, event marketing, and data management across departments.
