Job summary

Forsyth School in St. Louis, MO seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead advancement events and strengthen engagement among alumni, grandparents, families, and volunteers.

Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this role plans and executes high-impact fundraising and cultivation programs while coordinating volunteer leadership and donor stewardship. As a key Advancement team member, you will collaborate across departments, support communications and data management, and contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5+ years of development, fundraising, or event management experience.
• Solid nonprofit fundraising operations and donor engagement knowledge.
• Experience producing newsletters, social media, or other content preferred.
• Proven track record planning large-scale events and auctions.

Responsibilities

• Lead advancement events and alumni/volunteer engagement programs.
• Plan and execute fundraising events including auctions and donor recognition.
• Coordinate volunteer leadership and logistics across departments.
• Oversee donor stewardship, event marketing, and communications.
• Maintain accurate donor records and reporting with Bloomerang.
