Job summary

Forsyth School in Saint Louis, MO, seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead advancement events and deepen engagement among alumni, families, and volunteers. The role reports to the Director of Advancement and drives fundraising, stewardship, and community engagement initiatives.

Collaborate across departments to support Forsyth’s mission, manage event logistics, and coordinate communications and donor recognition for a vibrant school community.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in development, fundraising, or event management.
• Experience in independent schools, universities, or nonprofit settings.
• Proven track record planning large-scale events and auctions.
• Experience recruiting, organizing, and inspiring volunteer committees.
• Experience with donor databases and marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead advancement events and engagement programs.
• Plan and execute major fundraising and community events.
• Support donor stewardship and communications.
• Coordinate volunteer leadership and committees.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Data teams for outreach.
