Job summary

Care and Share, Inc. in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Development Manager to build donor relationships and expand our fundraising efforts in Southern Colorado.

You will identify and engage potential partners, plan and staff community events, and manage donor stewardship initiatives to support our mission. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, experience in fundraising, and the ability to collaborate with the CEO and Development Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of experience with community engagement.
• Fundraising experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies potential partners (donors, volunteers, schools, businesses, community groups, leaders, and other non-profits).
• Connects with partners to develop and deepen relationships; schedules visits, tours, events, and meetings.
• Develops and implements a strategic stewardship plan to express gratitude and keep partners informed.
• Leads fundraising events with the Development team to ensure success.
• Represents Care and Share at community networking events and educates about programs.
• Engages in grant prospecting, outreach, grant writing, and reporting as needed.
