Job summary

The Greenlining Institute seeks a strategic, Senior Director of Development to expand revenue across institutional philanthropy, corporate partners, and individual donors, including DAFs and high-net-worth supporters. This role reports to executive leadership and shapes long-term fundraising strategies and sustainability.

With oversight of PRIs, sponsorships, and events, the Senior Director will build cross-functional collaboration, mentor staff, and drive growth across Greenlining's revenue

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-profit leadership with a track record of managing and supporting a team
• Fluency with donor databases, preferably Salesforce
• Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of racial justice issues and commitment to serving low-income communities

Responsibilities

• Leads strategy for developing and executing a comprehensive major gifts program.
• Holds a leadership role in external partnerships with funders and stakeholders.
• Works with Events team to design donor engagement opportunities and connect donors to impact.
• Establishes systems and performance measures to support donor cultivation and growth of the individual giving program
