Job summary

JGS Lifecare is seeking a Development Director to lead our annual fundraising strategy and donor relations. You will cultivate mid-level donors, identify major gift prospects, and oversee development operations including tracking, communications, and reporting.

The role also involves planning events and building partnerships with businesses and community leaders. Collaborating with senior leadership, you will align development efforts with organizational goals and enhance the donor experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of fundraising experience requested.
• Proven success in donor cultivation, campaigns, events, and stewardship.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor databases, sponsorships and grants.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual fundraising strategy, including annual giving and multi-channel campaigns.
• Cultivate and manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and identify major gift prospects.
• Oversee development systems, gift tracking, donor communications, reporting, and supervise staff.
• Plan and lead fundraising events, cultivation activities, and community partnerships.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align development efforts and donor experience.
