JGS Lifecare is seeking a Development Director to lead its annual fundraising strategy and donor engagement efforts. You will oversee development systems, donor communications, and events, while supervising the Development Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or community relations.
• Proven success in donor cultivation, fundraising campaigns, events, and donor stewardship.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, charitable giving, sponsorships, grants, and donor database management.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual fundraising strategy, including annual giving, donor stewardship, planned giving, and multi-channel campaigns to grow philanthropic support and donor retention.
• Cultivate and manage a portfolio of mid-level donors, identify major gift prospects, and strengthen donor relationships through personalized outreach and stewardship.
• Direct fundraising operations by overseeing development systems, gift tracking, donor communications, reporting, and supervision of the Development Coordinator.
• Plan and lead fundraising events, cultivation activities, and community engagement initiatives while building strategic partnerships with businesses, civic organizations, and community leaders.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align development efforts, enhance donor experience across all giving levels, and support organizational fundraising goals.
