The Director will work with finance and program staff, help with budgeting, organize virtual events, and ensure philanthropy efforts align with JASC's mission to serve a multicultural community in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in fundraising and philanthropy with donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Knowledge of annual giving practices and planned giving.
• Understanding budgeting and financial tracking for development activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for donor correspondence and reports.
• Organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
• Comfort with email, video conferencing, and shared documents and collaborating with dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Cultivate and steward donor relationships to grow annual giving.
• Prepare development materials such as proposals and reports.
• Assist with budgeting and tracking contributions with finance and program staff.
• Research prospective donors and organize virtual fundraising events.
• Collaborate with leadership to align philanthropy with mission.
