American Jewish Committee (AJC) seeks a dynamic development leader to oversee fundraising strategy for a designated region. You will cultivate donors, manage campaigns and events, and collaborate with boards and staff to expand resources for AJC's mission.

The role involves mentoring a small team, managing budgets, and delivering impact analyses to guide future initiatives, with flexibility to work across regional offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in development or fundraising.
• Strong ability to cultivate donors and manage complex campaigns.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the region's fundraising strategy, goals, and action plans.
• Develop, oversee, and facilitate fundraising campaigns, programs, events, and initiatives.
• Identify, research, cultivate, engage, solicit, and steward donors and prospects.
• Collaborate with Boards, committees, and working groups; mentor staff.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and impact analyses for development programs.
• Advise regional offices on development strategies and processes.
