WNCSource in Western North Carolina seeks a visionary Development Director to lead fundraising, donor stewardship, grant cultivation, and strategic marketing. You will shape and execute programs that deepen community impact and secure lasting support for the individuals and families we serve.

As a member of the executive leadership team, you will hire and mentor development staff, design an annual development plan, and drive major gifts, capital campaigns, and grant proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required as described in the qualifications section.
• At least 3 years of professional fundraising and development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive annual development plan targeting individuals, sponsors, and foundations.
• Build donor relationships and prospect new supporters.
• Oversee grant research, proposals, compliance, and reporting.
• Direct marketing campaigns and brand messaging to elevate visibility.
• Lead and mentor development staff with clear performance metrics.
