Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking a Senior Director of Development to drive annual philanthropy, donor engagement, and stewardship. The role oversees campaigns, events, communications, and the Development Operations team in Austin, TX, guiding strategy and execution to grow revenue and strengthen donor relationships.

The Senior Director will lead staff, partner with executives, and shape fundraising priorities while maintaining a strong donor experience and accurate reporting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including management responsibility.
• Experience leading annual fundraising, donor engagement, campaigns, events, or related revenue-generating initiatives.
• Strong fundraising acumen across annual giving, donor stewardship and engagement, fundraising events, and donor communications.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to support fundraising strategy, donor segmentation, forecasting, and performance analysis.
