Job summary

Unbound Now in Austin seeks a seasoned Director of Development to lead a strategic plan securing funding for programs and mission activation. You will design annual development plans, manage donor relations and campaigns, and steward major gifts from individuals, churches, and foundations.

In collaboration with Unbound Now HQ and the local Advisory Board, you will drive coordinated strategies, plan Giving Tuesday and End-of-Year campaigns, and ensure compelling fundraising reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated donor stewardship and relationship building.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement annual development plan to secure funding.
• Monitor progress toward goals and lead donor relations and stewardship.
• Lead major gifts and foundation/grant relations efforts.
• Develop and execute fundraising campaigns and events (e.g., Giving Tuesday).
• Collaborate with Communications to produce fundraising reports and materials.
• Coordinate with HQ and local leadership to cultivate donor relationships.
