Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire is seeking a Director of Development to drive annual and major gift opportunities in support of our mission. You will identify prospective donors and engage them through face-to-face cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, collaborating with the executive team to reach fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as specified.
• Five years of fundraising experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for events and donor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing a strategic multi-year resource development plan with the executive team and Board.
• Support the Chief Development Officer in setting annual fundraising goals and budgets.
• Lead fundraising initiatives in leadership, annual, major gifts, endowments, and planned giving.
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward individual, corporate, and foundation gifts.
• Engage with prospects via outreach calls and meetings to qualify donors.
• Manage a donor portfolio with tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies.
