Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Assistant Director of Development for the School of Civic Life and Leadership (SCiLL). This role supports donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, reporting to the Chief Development Officer, and helps build a sustainable donor pipeline.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain donor relationships and engage volunteers and alumni.
Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly to support donor engagement.
Experience with donor databases or CRM systems and using data for fundraising activities.

Responsibilities

Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for SCiLL.
Support development operations and maintain donor records in DAVIE CRM.
Prepare donor briefings, proposals, presentations, and reports for senior leaders.
Coordinate donor meetings, campus visits, and events with SCiLL leadership.
