Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business invites an Associate Director of Development for the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. You will lead donor engagement to support student entrepreneurs and faculty innovation across MSU, partnering with units and alumni to build sustainable private support.

This role manages a ~70-prospect portfolio, cultivates major gifts, and collaborates with university leadership to achieve fundraising goals while expanding MSU’s

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing or Business with 3–5 years fundraising experience.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Moves Management or strategic donor relationships.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to close gifts of $50k or more.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts for Burgess Institute priorities.
• Manage an active portfolio of ~70 major gift prospects with $100k+ capacity.
• Collaborate with regional development officers and college/unit Advancement teams.
• Develop donor engagement plans and fundraising strategies across MSU.
• Plan and host campus experiences for donors and stakeholders.
