Job summary

Arete Scholars Fund, Inc. is seeking a Development Operations Manager to ensure precise tracking of tax credits and donations, maintain donor data integrity, and produce timely reports for leadership and the Board. This role also provides analytics support across programs and ties donor data to program impact.

The position is full-time and remote, with responsibilities spanning data entry, dashboards, and communications to support fundraising strategy and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, degree preferred.
• Prior experience in a nonprofit Development, Fundraising, or Finance/Administrative role.
• Strong experience with HubSpot or another CRM system.
• High accuracy and attention to donor and financial data.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Discretion handling sensitive donor information; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Track, record, and reconcile tax credit and charitable donations with accuracy.
• Maintain donor database and CRM integrity (HubSpot).
• Enter and update gift, donor, and pledge records; support tax receipts.
• Pull data and generate reports on fundraising progress and donor activity.
• Prepare Board Impact Reports with key donor and fundraising data.
• Develop dashboards to monitor revenue, donor acquisition, and KPIs.
• Assist with segmentation and list generation for mailings.
• Provide general administrative support and maintain confidentiality.
• Analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness and outcomes.
