Job summary

Banner Health Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to support Special Events, Annual Giving, and Communications teams. You will plan, coordinate and execute key development activities and events while providing admin support to the broader fundraising team.

The role requires experience in event planning, volunteer management, project management, or community engagement, and a bachelor’s degree. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a mission-driven environment in Phoenix.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit fundraising or related field.
  • Three years of administrative or fundraising experience.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Working knowledge of common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development activities, appointments and special events.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports, including dictation when needed.
  • Serve as a resource for inquiries and direct to appropriate parties.
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings; assist with travel and marketing materials.
