Job summary

Banner Health Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to support Special Events, Annual Giving and Communications. The role involves planning and coordinating development activities, with administrative and operational support to the fundraising team, interfacing with donors, sponsors, and senior facility management for high-profile events.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in administrative, fundraising, sales, marketing or nonprofit

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit fundraising/administration.
  • Three years of administrative, fundraising, sales, marketing or nonprofit coordination/management experience.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development activities, appointments, special events, meetings and other engagements for major gift officers and staff.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports; transcribe dictation and distribute reports in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a resource to inquiries; provide detailed information to the public.
  • Manage leadership calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel and hotel accommodations as needed.
  • Coordinate and implement marketing strategies for events to meet attendance and financial goals.
  • Interact with employees, physicians, patients, visitors, vendors and community leaders at events; solve problems as needed.
