Job summary

Alliance for Aging Research is seeking a detail‑oriented Development Coordinator to support fundraising efforts and event logistics. You will work closely with the Vice President of Development to enter donor data, manage gifts and invoices, and track program budgets.

This role also supports donor communications and reporting. The position focuses on development administration and events, with in‑person and virtual coordination, across the Alliance’s health education and advocacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in development or related field.
• 2+ years of fundraising experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and fundraising software; Salesforce is a plus.
• Proficient with email marketing platforms; Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Pardot) is a plus.
• Proficient with webinar software; Zoom Webinars is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, driven, service‑oriented, with the ability to work independently or on a team.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain donor and prospect data in Salesforce, tracking cultivation activities and opportunities.
• Enter gifts and produce invoices for projected and funded opportunities, acknowledgments, and tax receipts.
• Enter project and budget data and manage budget-to-actual reports for program teams.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of billable revenue with Finance.
• Produce donor reports and other collateral, including close-out reports for funded opportunities.
