Job summary

Community Access to the Arts (CATA) in Great Barrington, MA, seeks a Development Associate to support donor data integrity and provide administrative backing to the Development team. This in-person role emphasizes accurate gift processing, donor communications, and meticulous database management to drive fundraising success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years experience in nonprofit fundraising preferred, with detailed data entry.
• Proven expertise in Google Suite, MS Office, and fundraising technology.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain donor data with scrupulous accuracy and timely updates.
• Prepare acknowledgments and donor communications with careful proofreading.
• Support Annual Gala and events with data management and on-site logistics.
• Provide administrative and project support to the Development team.
• Assist with donor meeting scheduling and materials for events and visits.
• Create reports and segmented lists for mailings and campaigns.
• Support special fundraising projects and broader mission activities.
