Job summary

Community Access to the Arts (CATA) is seeking an early-career Development Associate to support fundraising operations in Great Barrington, MA. You will handle donor data, acknowledgments, events, and day-to-day admin for the Development team.

This full-time, benefits-eligible role reports to the Development Director; requires 1–3 years nonprofit fundraising experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years in nonprofit fundraising; detail-oriented data entry.
  • Experience with Bloomerang CRM is a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and MS Office.
  • Excellent time management and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork.
  • Ability to relate to diverse people with diplomacy.
  • Reliable transportation to Great Barrington; in-person role.
  • Some nights and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain donor records with accuracy.
  • Prepare donor acknowledgments and communications.
  • Support Gala and events; manage guest data and materials.
  • Provide administrative support for the Development team.
  • Coordinate donor mailings and outreach projects.
  • Schedule donor meetings and prepare spaces for visits.
  • Create reports and segmented lists for mailings and campaigns.
  • Assist with capital campaigns and other fundraising duties.
