Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Development Assistant for the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications to support fundraising operations within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.

Reporting to the Director of Development and Alumni Relations and collaborating with development officers, alumni relations staff, and central DDAR partners, you will provide administrative and project support, manage donor communications, and assist with data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant administrative, fundraising, nonprofit, or related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience supporting director-level staff in deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support to the development team.
• Manage proposal submissions and track donor records.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate travel for development officers.
• Prepare development materials and briefing documents.
• Support events, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
