Job summary

American Crane & Equipment Corporation is seeking a Developing Field Service Engineer in Douglassville, PA. You will learn to read schematics, troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, and study ACECO equipment while building hands-on expertise under mentorship.

You’ll engage with structured training, participate in technician development, and progressively take on more responsibility in electrical safety and field support.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of electrical systems from education or training.
• Willingness to learn PLC-based controls and motor-control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Interest in hands-on training and developing instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering electrical fundamentals and PLCs.
• Develop knowledge of AC/DC circuits and motor-controls.
• Learn to interpret schematics and control panel layouts.
• Assist with preparing training materials and demonstrations.
• Support field visits and customer-site activities as assigned.
