Job summary

Braintrust is seeking Developer Support Engineers to help developers overcome blockers and ship fixes. You’ll troubleshoot API/SDK issues, reproduce bugs, and communicate clearly with customers while building internal tools and documentation.

This remote role is based in London and blends technical problem solving with empathetic support, collaboration with Engineering, Solutions, and Product, and on-call rotations to keep customers moving forward.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting developer-facing products in a customer-facing technical role.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Ability to learn APIs, SDKs, and developer tools quickly.
• Owns problems end-to-end until customers are unblocked.
• Clear, empathetic communication.
• Curious about LLM use cases and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve API/SDK issues alongside customers’ codebases.
• Reproduce bugs, identify causes, and work with Engineering to fix them.
• Own support communications via Slack and email with clear empathy.
• Write and maintain knowledge base docs to unblock future developers.
• Suggest improvements to tools, docs, and support workflows.
• Write scripts and contribute to internal tooling to speed resolutions.
• Relay customer feedback to Product/Engineering to shape roadmap.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during holidays.
• Mentor cross-functional peers and improve escalation handling.
• Champion developer experience and product reliability.
