Job summary

gpac in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX seeks a Project Manager - Developer to join a real estate development team on the owner side, partnering with architects, engineers, consultants, municipalities, and investors.

You will lead development and construction activities from planning through delivery, coordinating with ownership to move projects from vision to reality.

This role offers exposure to large-scale master-planned projects and a seat at the table on the developer side.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, development, construction, or related experience.
• Experience managing significant commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, residential, civic, or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of the complete development and construction lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple consultants, contractors, stakeholders, budgets, and schedules simultaneously.
• Experience reviewing drawings, contracts, schedules, estimates, change orders, and construction documentation.
• Strong financial and cost-management aptitude.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects across the Dallas/Fort Worth area from planning and design through preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
• Represent the developer/owner while coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and other project partners.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, contracts, and overall execution.
• Participate in design development and constructability discussions.
• Coordinate permitting, approvals, entitlements, and municipality requirements.
• Review project costs, forecasts, change orders, pay applications, and financial reporting.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication between all stakeholders.
• Identify and proactively address schedule, budget, design, and construction challenges.
• Assist with contractor and consultant selection and procurement.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership and ownership.
• Drive projects toward successful delivery while protecting the developer’s overall objectives.
