Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a Development Manager to oversee projects from planning to completion, coordinating with land planners, engineers and leadership to deliver high-quality, on-time communities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Real Estate Development (Master’s preferred), 5+ years in real estate development and strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; AutoCAD a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in real estate development and project management for master-planned communities.
• Excellent research, analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication to present to contractors, engineers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create permits and budgets for projects as needed.
• Maintain master project schedule including infrastructure, entitlements and financing timing.
• Track progress with action lists and milestones.
• Participate in pre-development budget creation.
• Coordinate with land planners, engineers, municipal agencies and leadership to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Update and maintain project budget and schedule.
