Job summary

Viam, a robotics software platform, is seeking a part-time Social Media & Content Producer in NYC (hybrid, 24 hours/week) for a 3-month contract. You’ll create content from demos and product updates to engage developers and drive adoption, reporting to the VP of Marketing.

You’ll own social across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube, and collaborate with DevRel, Growth and Brand teams. Strong writing and editorial judgment are essential, with a portfolio of technical content a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience creating social content for developer tools or technical SaaS.
• Strong editorial judgment for technical audiences.
• Excellent writing that is precise, clear and human.
• Ability to create polished assets in Canva; familiarity with Adobe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
• Convert technical material into channel-native content including short videos and threads.
• Own the company’s Twitter/X voice among developers.
• Manage YouTube channel: uploads, titles, descriptions, metadata, organization.
• Write blog posts with engineers and tech experts when needed.
• Support content around major product launches, campaigns and education initiatives.
• Review performance biweekly and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Brief video support teams when needed.
