Job summary

Viam, a robotics software platform, seeks a part-time Content Marketing Manager in NYC to create content from demos, product updates, and technical stories. The role drives developer discovery, product usage, and adoption, reporting to the VP of Marketing and owning social content across channels.

This hands-on IC will support major launches, campaigns, and Viam Education initiatives, working with DevRel, Growth and Brand, for a consistent voice and compelling content strategy.

Qualifications

• Developer-focused content experience for developer tool or technical SaaS.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to identify compelling stories inside technical material.
• Excellent writing: precise, clear, human and non-hype.
• Strong visual instincts; create polished assets in Canva and think across text, image and short-form video.
• Portfolio or examples across social, video, writing for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
• Turn technical source material into channel-native content, including short-form video, threads, product posts, and event content.
• Own Viam’s Twitter/X presence and build a consistent voice with developers.
• Manage Viam’s YouTube channel, including uploads, titles, descriptions, metadata, and organization.
• Write occasional blog posts by working with engineers and other technical SMEs.
• Support content needs around major product launches, campaigns, and Viam Education initiatives.
• Review performance biweekly and identify what’s working, what isn’t, and what to adjust.
• Brief and provide feedback to video support when needed.
