Job summary

Aikido, a security startup building developer‑first tools, is seeking a Customer Success Engineer in Chicago. You’ll work directly with customers to drive value from the platform, digging into technical workflows, solving complex problems, and ensuring Aikido becomes a core part of how teams manage security.

You'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customers, guiding post‑sale onboarding, deployments, and proactive risk management. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or similar roles.
• Strong technical curiosity; comfortable digging into workflows.
• Experience with developers, security teams, or technical products.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts simply.
• Proactive, ownership-driven in fast-moving environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers post‑sale to get them up and running quickly.
• Help teams understand and navigate Aikido across code to cloud to runtime.
• Debug issues, investigate workflows, and unblock customers when things don’t work as expected.
• Run onboarding sessions and guide customers through initial setup and deployment.
• Proactively identify risks and help customers get back on track.
• Act as a trusted advisor to developers, security teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Share product feedback and customer insights directly with our product and engineering teams.
