JOB TITLE:

Document Management - Microsoft Developer/Analyst Veterinary Medicine Research and Development (VMRD)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will design, build, and enhance key systems and products in our document management technology suite of platforms. This includes participation in defining best practices within a larger team, applicable to internal and regulatory policies and standards. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Lead in the design, development, and maintenance of standardized document management systems, tools, and business processes used within VMRD in accordance with strategies.
2. Champion Digital Fluency within VMRD through adoption of Zoetis licensed Microsoft capabilities, providing user support and training, troubleshooting, and offering solutions to ensure effective support.
3. Provide technical support for managing VMRD standard document templates.
4. Manage departmental information resources and repositories.
5. Support VMRD departments on electronic document scanning, storage, indexing, and search & retrieval.
6. Maintain understanding of document management and regulatory submission publishing best practices.
7. Develop expertise in emerging trends and technologies related to document management and regulatory publishing, and stay informed about Zoetis and VMRD technologies.
8. Represent Document Management on cross-departmental initiatives and support process improvement efforts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Educational Background:

• Minimum: Degree or equivalent experience (BS, BSc, BA, MS/MA)
• Desirable: Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline

Work Experience/Skills:

• Minimum: Knowledge of document management principles, systems architecture, software development, validation, project management; proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Power Apps, VBA, VBScript, HTML, XML, REST; experience with document systems like Veeva Vault or SharePoint; experience with InfoPath, Power Automate; developing Word templates with macros; understanding of software design methodologies and project management; knowledge of US and EU regulatory submission processes; strong organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: 2-5 years in pharmaceutical R&D document management; help desk management; technical documentation; understanding of VICH, GCPs, GLPs, Zoetis VMRD processes; self-directed, goal-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects, strategic thinker.

Base Pay Range (Colorado): $64,000 - $93,000

Base Pay Range (California, NJ Remote, NY Remote, Washington): $73,000 - $105,000

This position is eligible for short-term and long-term incentive compensation.
