Job summary

Massive is seeking a Developer Advocate to empower our developer ecosystem and bridge our APIs with engineering. You will guide developers, troubleshoot API usage, and contribute to tools and docs to reduce friction in integration.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment, advocating for developers and helping shape the future of fintech data access.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in developer support or related field.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and client-side implementations.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for API usage.
• Understanding of HTTP methods, requests, and authentication.
• Experience debugging API issues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Customer-centric mindset to exceed developer expectations.
• Experience engaging with developer communities and APIs.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist developers in integrating Massive’s APIs and SDKs, offering guidance and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and address technical issues related to development, deployment, and functionality.
• Help maintain documentation and knowledge bases to facilitate self-service support.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize disruptions for developers.
• Provide feedback to enhance development tools and resources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address recurring issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly, especially to non-technical individuals.
• Take ownership of projects and tasks, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
