Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Developer to join the Software Development Department in St. Louis, MO. You will design and develop MES applications for new implementations or modifications, supporting cross-functional teams and tackling complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with Java, C++, C#, .NET, HTML, JSP/CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server and Angular 5. Local candidates are preferred with remote consideration for the right fit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience on large, cross-functional projects.
• Strong troubleshooting of legacy apps and modern software development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application deliverables for MES implementations or modifications.
• Provide technical support to factories and internal partners for MES applications.
• Maintain and update user reference materials for MES apps.
• Contribute to strategic development of MES by exploring new technologies.

As a Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Developer

Location: St. Louis, MO (Candidates local to St. Louis, MO are preferred. Remote candidates will be considered for the right fit)

What's the Job?

• Design and develop application deliverables for new MES implementations and/or modifications to existing MES applications using modern software development methodologies.
• Provide technical support to factories and internal business partners for MES applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
• Maintain and update user reference materials, including documentation for MES applications.
• Contribute to the strategic development of MES applications by exploring new technologies and promoting process improvements.
• Collaborate with factory personnel and internal teams to accomplish projects, enhancements, and support tasks effectively.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong technical background.
• Proven experience working on large, collaborative, cross-functional projects.
• Solid understanding of troubleshooting legacy applications and modern software development principles.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, C#, .NET Framework, HTML, JSP/CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, Angular 5, and related technologies.
