Job summary

InterCommunity, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Detox unit. The RN will provide triage and direct nursing care for up to 35 clients in a medically managed setting, under Nursing Supervisor supervision.

Responsibilities include medication administration, vitals, and coordinated care with a multidisciplinary team. CT RN license, BLS and CPR certifications are required. EPIC experience is preferred but not mandatory, with a focus on ensuring high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license and valid BLS/CPR certifications.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform triage and assess medical/psychiatric status per admission criteria.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess medical and psychiatric status against admission criteria.
• Provide direct patient care to up to 35 clients on a medically managed unit.
• Timely administer medications and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain accurate reports and vital signs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel when needed.
• Attend mandatory department and agency meetings and trainings.
