Job summary

InterCommunity, Inc. in Connecticut seeks a Registered Nurse for its Detox unit to provide triage and direct patient care for up to 35 clients. The RN will evaluate medical and psychiatric status, support withdrawal management, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Under supervision, the RN administers medications, monitors vital signs, and documents findings. CT license, BLS and CPR are required; EPIC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CT RN license and active BLS/ CPR certifications.
• Experience in triage, medication administration and vital signs monitoring is required.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage evaluation and direct patient care for detox clients.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and vital signs documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust care.
• Supervise less-experienced staff as needed.
