Qualifications

  • Experience assembling delicate components with understanding of configuration control, QA, and QC
  • Experience prototyping mechanical components in a machine shop
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and assembly procedures
  • Experience with test stands focusing on cryogenic and mechanical systems
  • Experience installing, debugging, and operating systems with mechanical and electronic components
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications
  • Ability to follow safety principles and work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to production schedules
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and initiative

Responsibilities

  • Assemble delicate components in a cleanroom environment
  • Operate complex lab equipment like microscopes, wirebonders, linear stages, and metrology machines
  • Provide mechanical and electrical support including machining components, building structures, cryogenic systems, and record-keeping of fabricated parts
