Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions is looking for a dedicated Transport Officer to securely transport detainees and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained. Candidates must have a valid Class B or C Chauffeur's License and complete various training programs. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring all regulations are followed during transports. Applicants should possess a high school diploma and be able to work overtime and handle physical stress. The position is located in Folkston, Georgia.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
• Valid Class B or C Chauffeurs Driver's License required.
• Passing company and DOT drug and alcohol test mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Securely transport detainees and maintain vehicle safety.
• Conduct pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure all permits and licenses are in order before trips.
