Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking a Sales Service Supervisor in the Northeast division to lead detailing and project management for rebar fabrication. You will oversee internal teams, coordinate with Sales and customers, and drive safe, productive operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include staffing, capacity planning, contract oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects and sites, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to Nucor safety programs and standards.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the metal building or rebar fabrication industry.
• Vocational certificate in CAD design or equivalent experience.
• Written recommendation from current Manager indicating readiness for this role.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead all detailing and internal project management operations.
• Manage in-house and third-party detailing services and supervise a team of detailers and project managers.
• Align workload capacity with forecasts and ensure a safe, productive environment.
• Collaborate with Sales and other departments to provide technical and value-add support.
• Build relationships with key customers, builders and contractors.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring of detailing personnel.
• Forecast backlog and conduct capacity planning and staffing adjustments.
• Oversee vendor invoices, change orders, and cost-of-quality analyses.
• Ensure adherence to CRSI standards and the Manual of Standard Practice.
