Jobot is seeking a seasoned Permanent Detailing Manager to join our engineering team in California. You will manage detailing activities, oversee models and drawings, and ensure projects stay on time, within scope and budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a detailing management role within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience managing detailing schedules and controlling models for projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software.
  • PMP or other project management certification is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailing schedules in coordination with project managers and other stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the detailing team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Regularly report on the status of detailing activities to senior management, providing insight and recommendations as necessary.
