Job summary

Jobot is seeking a project engineer to lead the design and detailing of building structures, both independently and within a team. You will coordinate with design professionals and principals, select framing strategies, perform analyses, and produce drawings and specs.

You’ll also review shop drawings and monitor construction progress. The role requires an MS in Structural Engineering, PE license, 4+ years’ experience, RAM/RISA, and REVIT proficiency.

Qualifications

• MS in Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the design of building structures.
• Professional Engineer Registration required.
• Experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design.
• Familiar with design codes.
• Experience producing construction documents (drawings and specifications).
• RAM or RISA analysis software experience.
• Fluent in REVIT.

We provide consultation for buildings of all types, sizes, and material systems using structural analysis and BIM software. We have extensive experience with healthcare, educational, institutional, recreational, commercial, hospitality, industrial, religious, and residential uses; and are equally adept at renovation, renewal, adaptive reuse, and new construction. We deliver design through fast-track, design-bid-build, design-build, and public/private partnership to best serve the Owner. We also provide component design and construction engineering services - including shoring, bracing, load path verification, delegated design, value engineering, and bid consultation - as well as forensic, performance, and due-diligence investigations, condition assessments, and feasibility studies.

Job Details
