Job summary

Newton Nissan South is seeking a full-time Vehicle Detailer to keep our cars looking showroom ready at our Shelbyville, TN location.

Responsibilities include washing, waxing, interior cleaning and detailing, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, occasional Saturdays; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and customer service orientation required.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Comfort with learning and applying dealership cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to dealership standards.
• Clean interior and exterior windows and surfaces.
• Vacuum and scrub interiors; clean engine and engine compartments as needed.
• Apply tire dressing and maintain overall vehicle appearance.
• Use approved cleaners and tools safely and report safety issues.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle.

• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles.
• Operate all tools in a safe manner.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
